Volunteers for Children's Health Month
Dr. Klump is pictured in the center of "The Clown", a group that perform every February for Chrildren's Dental Health Month. With skits and humor, these colorful volunteers go to elementary schools and discuss the importance of brushing, flossing, and good oral health. Dr. Klump, center in the tall green leprechaun hat, is lovingly named "Klumpy."

White Sands International Film Festival
The White Sands International Film Festival started in 2004, and I became involved in 2005. The purpose of WSIFF is to promote the film industry worldwide, especially here in New Mexico. We judge films in various categories (drama, animation, etc) and hopefully will allow film makers to network with others, and hopefully they will see what we have here in southern New Mexico that would inspire them to return here to shoot a film. I have been involved by hosting receptions at my home for the attendees of the festival, as well as raising money to keep it running.
New Mexico Amigos
NM Amigos were founded in 1962 when several citizens from across the state went to Washington, DC to celebrate New Mexico's 50th anniversary of statehood. They decided to form the organization formally, and would tour the country once a year to promote the state. Membership is by invitation only, and it strives to have a good cross-section of members, whether by geography, political views, and economy or industry. I joined in 2002 and have made 3 trips, the last returning to Washington DC and meeting with President Bush..
